I received this printer just yesterday to replace my failed Dymo 4XL which I have been using for the last few months to ship items from eBay, Poshmark, Sellercentral, Bonanza, Mercari and Etsy. This is my 5th thermal label printer since 2015. I have little experience using them for my part time reseller job. Brief History: I first bought a Dymo TwinTurbo label printer for use with eBay shipping when I first started selling online. Every time I've sold something I've ridden my bike with FedEx, so this was a big upgrade. Being able to print labels at home was awesome! Setup time was frustrating though, labels were about 7.5" x 2.5" and I had to get ebay to print shipping at that size. It was great when I figured it out, but I didn't expect that a few years later I'd expand to other trading platforms that can't print at that size. tiny apartment of 360 sqm. Feet (with my 6 year old daughter, my fiancé, my house cat and a 50lb German Shepherd, I might add. Times were tough). still printed the same odd sized labels but was smaller. The Twin Turbo has two label feed rollers while the 450 Labeler only has one. As a beginner, I mistakenly thought I needed to print an address label separately from the postage. label, I soon found that wasn't the case and that my two-reel twin turbo was taking up unnecessary desk space. This printer was good too, but the label specs were weird and not compatible with other platforms. The printer was bought because I tried to load a new roll of labels the wrong way round for *some reason*. It never occurred to me to put them face down until I had already taken the printer apart, broke it in desperation, and later got a new replacement. which contained instructions showing that I was trying to place the roll the wrong way. $50 off. God. I used this for about a year until I decided to switch to other selling platforms. I had long since moved into a room of the right size and began to expand my inventory considerably. As soon as I started listing them, I knew it was time to move on to the regular, industry standard 4x6 labels. So I spent about $200 on the Dymo 4XL and the labels. When I bought it I knew that a lot of people would have problems with this particular printer and that I could too. I haven't had it with the twin turbo or the 450 but they had way better reviews than the 4XL so I got an extended warranty. Unfortunately this damn thing started sticking and throwing away test labels just 3 months after I bought it. It wasn't the only problem I had, there were crooked labels and all that crap, but it was the ultimate death of the Dymo 4XL. When I contacted my warranty service, they directed me to contact the manufacturer, so I emailed Dymo with a request regarding their manufacturer warranty service. It's been almost a week and I still have NO reply from Dymo. As I still have a business and don't have a reliable Dymo printer, I decided to venture here with a ROLLO printer. I almost bought it the first time but didn't like that it needed a separate reel seat or that it was made by a new and unknown company. I was also concerned about how I would print Poshmark labels as they only format their labels for 8.5" x 11" sheets (I thought so! You can actually change this now, please read on to find out how!). But this time I decided to take a chance. Finally, a roll holder is an option, as are fold-in labels, so it's a win-win in that sense. Also, the fact that the company is newer and less familiar to me means it MUST earn my trust if it wants to be in the game. So that's actually an advantage. The benefit I didn't expect is that it prints SO fast and is MUCH quieter than the dymo! As for the fancy labels, I reluctantly tried the workaround suggested by ROLLO at first. Dymo had great software that I could use to take a screenshot of the Poshmark label and print it out, but ROLLO suggested I use Adobe Reader, another new program that can only be downloaded for smelly marks. FURTHERMORE. I googled again and found that on March 18th Poshmark added a way to change the default label size to 4" x 6"! So excited! All you have to do is go to: Seller Tools > Shipping Label Settings and select 4x6. label option. Now print directly from poshmark without any workarounds! Since it's still very early in my ROLLO life, I had no problem when I had to contact customer service. But I have a feeling when/if I do it someday will be more than helpful. Anyway, I'll update my review here after a while to include new information and experiences I have. So far I'm definitely converted, OUT with Dymo, IN with ROLLO!
