Never done before. The instructions were very vague. The outside of the box said to mix the two parts until dark black. I blended for about half an hour and it never got darker than a pale brown. The instructions inside only say to shuffle, so something on the outside of the box might be wrong. It was also said to use pads under the eyes for protection, but there weren't any. The instructions look like translated from another language. Anyway, I got it too close to my eye and it started to sting and sting so bad I just had to wash it all off. I would leave the coloring to the professionals. I would return this item if I could.
