Review on ๐Ÿ‹๏ธ Polar T31 Coded Chest Transmitter with Elastic Strap by Chelsea Hicks

Look, ma, no hands. - Training & Fitness

I bought a Polar T31 coded heart rate monitor at the gym I go to hoping it would work with the Life Fitness Activate Series OST treadmill. Happy to report straight out of the box, so far so good. Putting something on is not difficult, even if you have to adjust it. Wearing the transmitter wasn't as uncomfortable as I thought it would be either. After putting it on I just went to the car, installed the program I wanted to use and left. The display no longer says "no heartbeat detected" and I no longer have to pick up the sensors. At this point I have nothing to compare the transmitter to for accuracy other than the readings matched what I got with the sensors on the treadmill. Maybe even better. I ordered two packs of Spectra 360 Electrode Gel and used some of them on the transmitter that lists the humidity levels. The problem is that the bottles are larger than they appear online. That's enough for me for the rest of my life. My first impression of the Polar T31 coded heart rate sensor is positive as it does what I need it to do and there are no issues or fuss. Time will tell if it holds up.
