Perfect for my family! I don't iron often and I buy a lot of things that need ironing. However, from time to time we need to iron clothes for dinner, special occasions, etc. And when I iron, I prefer to use a vertical steamer than our traditional hot iron because the steamer is faster and easier to use. However, in my experience, it's difficult to achieve an almost completely wrinkle-free, crease-free vertical vape with a portable vertical vape, no matter how much vapor I use. However, this 2-in-1 iron solves that problem! I can still steam most clothes in an upright position, but I can quickly use the heated ironing plate in a horizontal position as an additional option when I need sharper results like button-down collar shirts. Now I can throw away my big ol' traditional iron and big bulky steamer! I used this steamer to steam my thin flannel shirt with a collar and buttons. I steamed most of the shirt with vertical steam, which removed most of the wrinkles and creases on the shirt. I then used a horizontal steam hot plate to iron the edges, sleeves and collar fairly quickly. The results were great! Without wrinkles, with clear edges and collar. Like: 2-in-1. Dry or steam iron. The metal plate is thick and looks solid. good weight Not too easy, not too heavy. Comes with a backing plate to protect surfaces from steam and heat. Easy to fill with water. The water tank is a good size for a compact size. Good balance between quality, functionality and design. Great 2-in-1 iron!
