I measured where the 2 hooks attach to the porcelain tile above the sink, removed the paper cover and reattached them. Very firmly in place, then I slipped the mirror hooks onto the hooks on the tile and now I have a vanity mirror, about 8 pounds. So far, so good! No holes had to be drilled in the tiles. I don't think they will fail. ONE month and one of the catches turned out! Fell in my sink. The second hook prevented the mirror from falling. I went ahead and reworked the failed hook and it took another 10 days before it failed. So one keeps working and the other doesn't stick properly. If everything is the same, why does one work and the other not? Production without quality control? upset.
