This is a good bath mat. I ordered it for my basement bathroom as it gets a lot of traffic from the pool. The little feet that enter and leave the house follow the water, not to mention that it flows along the entrance to the shower. I need carpet in this area so the floor doesn't get too slippery. The bottom of the mat has rubber inserts that keep the mat in place. It's thick and soft to the touch, absorbs water yet fits comfortably under a swing door and the door won't snag or get stuck. We just tested for a swim over Memorial Day weekend with friends on the only perfect day, Monday, and it passed the test. I ordered the largest size as it fits the space but there are many options for many places.
