My car actually uses a flip up cup holder but this fist fits perfectly in an empty compartment. It, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg like the original retractable, which costs anywhere from ninety-eight to over three hundred dollars if you buy brand new from the factory. No thank you. This one costs about fourteen dollars or less, I don't remember exactly, and works just as well. The only reason I give it four stars is because it's not clean. But it is not necessary for me.
