Review on Enhance Your Triumph Thruxton R with the New Rage Cycles Fender Eliminator Kit - Available in the US by Dave Hunt

Very clean, connects instantly.

I have a Thrx RS '22 USDM. The fender removal kit eliminates most of the clutter in the rear of the motorcycle; it is wonderful. I chose a model with a folded license plate so that the rear license plate fits snugly in the rear wheel. Please note that there were no instructions included with the kit, but the videos on the web cover most of it. The lightbar is fairly hidden under the tail, so someone standing close to the tail of the bike won't be able to see the signals very well. The flash frequency changes in the same way. On Thruxton you have a menu in the UI to change the type of signals you have (hold the "i" button while pressing the button and wait for the menu to appear). For 22-year-old models, there are FIVE settings. Most of them make the light stop working after you get into danger until you turn off and restart the bike. For now I have to leave the default setting (One) until I change the front signals and redo the settings. Wiring is taut under the seat as the removed factory rear fender acts as the ECU compartment and provides the wiring. Channels that keep them in place. Otherwise, the control unit itself rests on a small plastic support that is bolted to the frame; different than in previous years. You don't have to tinker with it. The only major issue is that the cable connector (where you unplug the factory and plug in the rear neat adjustment) is quite bulky and sits right in the seat latch area. Be sure to examine it carefully and make sure the seat release mechanism works and nothing is pinched or pinched. Overall, this is a great cock clean. Thruxton benefits more from one of these kits than anything else I've seen. The license plate bracket bolts to the rear dash (and has a license plate light) and you must use the original (dealer supplied) license plate screws as these are not included.
