Review on 🎙️ Enhance In-Car Communication with XTRONS External Microphone for Car Auto Head Unit DVD Player by Ryan Hampton

I think this should be installed in large vans or SUVs so that other passengers can hear over the cellular system. However, the microphone built into the head unit is more than adequate for hands-free calling in my truck (2000 Toyota Tacoma, long cab). The main unit I bought with it (TE706LE: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CPS731Y) has a red cable labeled "5v MIC" and a standard 1/8" mic audio jack . Turn on this mic and finally didn't install it. On the other hand I could be totally wrong and this "5v mic" cable provided the output, I didn't bother using a multimeter on it , and the documentation was missing.
