I have a zero turn radius that I use to move a small lawn trailer; However, I also have a dump truck and am hauling a sprayer behind it. The small lawn trailer uses a ball mount, and the dump truck and trailer behind the sprayer use a pin mount. Hence the need for this device. I was able to attach it to my zero turn hitch and then add the ball and the pin attachment works fine. Now as others have said the mount rotates to the max even after tightening the screw. This is the only fixed point and when I back up a trailer, even a dump trailer, it spins. If I go forward, he straightens up again. That's a problem? It wasn't for me. The metal is thick and powder coated. As it scratches easily I would expect rust to appear. At first I thought I'd do it myself, but finding a thick enough piece of metal, using a big enough drill bit in a drill press, etc. wasn't worth the trouble. I am happy with the purchase.
