Smaller than expected, works well with my Chromebook

I recently bought an Asus Flip Chromebook that only comes with two USB-C ports. The rest of my word is USB A. USB Type-C might be the wave of the future, but it's still a long way from the beach. I bought the 128GB model as mine has 64GB. I was surprised when I got it at how small it is. I guess these aren't the sliders I've been used to in the past. Technology has come a long way. Plugged it in and everything seems to be working. Approximately 115 MB of memory is available and no security software is pre-installed on the drive. The sliding mechanism also works well. I tried both USB C and USB A. I ran a quick read and write test and the speed isn't lightning fast, but it's decent. I got about 150MB/s reading and about 50MB/s writing which is enough for me. One reviewer mentioned that this thing gets hot. I can vouch for it, it did get really hot, but not during a read and write test and not during a 48GB data transfer, it just sat there plugged in and when I tried to unplug it it was noticeably hot. As long as it keeps working I don't mind. The only thing I would have liked would have been some sort of waterproofing as my wife likes to wash my CDs with her clothes regularly. I think the tiny form factor will likely exacerbate this issue. It's a good buy considering there aren't many hybrid flash drives to choose from. I've attached a few photos for size comparison.
