They sent me something completely different and it broke after 9 months

The product that arrived had the same connections but it was a completely different unit than the picture . It worked great for a few months and then started to falter until recently it stopped working. The product I received was also unbranded which doesn't bother me but somehow tells me I received a $5 counterfeit.
