First of all, if you are very picky about doll clothes and craftsmanship, maybe this won't satisfy you, so you should buy clothes directly from Barbie. They cost $20 to $40 for one, so you only need a few hundred dollars to get the same number of dresses. Some dresses are a little big, but not all our barbies and other princess dolls are the same size. I was still able to wear them well. Some stitching could be better but then again these doll clothes are for my 3 year old and we can have them for anything from 6 months to a year. The price is so cheap that I wouldn't even get mad if we had to get rid of some sooner. I wouldn't waste money buying Barbie's clothes. They are too expensive and my child is too small to take care of them. Also, these are toy clothes, not meant to last a lifetime. I love most of the dresses and they are perfect. The dresses I received didn't have the chemical smell that other reviewers have mentioned so we were able to play around with them when we received them. Overall, this is still a great deal for what you get. Kids will find ways to ruin clothes, so why not let kids be kids and explore the world freely without worrying about damaging "toy clothes". This price allows you to have that thought.
