Makes very loud noise

I put 2 stars. I didn't have an owner's manual so I had to figure it out myself. I checked everything in the box and in the box it arrived. There weren't any replies on YouTube either, so I finally got it working after a while. I turned it on and it has a VERY high pitched tone that doesn't fade out. My cats even looked the same. what is e?
