I have 4 Anker charging cables, a power bank and a power bank and they have all been great. I bought this 10ft cable as a gift for my girlfriend about 3 weeks before Christmas. I received it and left it in the box until Christmas. Open and switched on at night. In the morning she noticed that he hadn't charged her phone at all. I tried it with my cell phone and it didn't work either. I unplugged the cable from the apple box and plugged it into my anker box. Nothing. I started taking a closer look at the cable and it seemed thinner and not as high quality as I'm used to with other Anker cables. That's when I noticed that it didn't say "Anchor" as usual. Also, it didn't have a label like other cables. It wasn't even the color I bought. Obviously I'm not the first to catch a fake cable when buying here. I like their cables, but I may look elsewhere if it's a toss up of the dice as to whether or not you're getting a real Anker cable.
