Tastes better than a plain dish.

We always kept a clear butter plate on the counter. Yes, we're the type that likes to keep it at room temperature (for readability). We recently completely redesigned the kitchen and turned it into a real "Chip and Joanna". The clear oil tray no longer matched the new decor and something needed to be changed. This is a great alternative. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's a deep bowl so the oil pan isn't that easy to reach and the bamboo lid is very loose! People tend to just grab the top/lid to make a move. Trust me, don't do it! The lid pops off instantly and you can be left with a big mess.

Pros

Save space (and clutter). The storer keeps the butter and pasta blocks organized and the kitchen is clutter-free. Plenty of storage space for up to two oil sticks, but small footprint and less wasted space.
