The photo is the old version that I know.

The photo shows the old version I wanted. The new version has a larger square base with a different hole pattern and is not an exact replacement for the old model. Worked.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • No performance

Ideal for replacing a bulky inverted antenna

Impressive performance even when working with remote stations. Not very directional, but the guide helps at the farthest stops. Easy to install, and it's nice not to have to mess with that ugly, old-fashioned clockwork setup anymore.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Clarity

Great reception at RV Parts & Accessories

We bought this to replace one that we had knocked off the fifth wheel while driving down the road. It was very easy to install as we already had the wiring. You'll need to buy tape underneath and sealant around the edges. We get great reception with it and don't bring our plate with direct television anymore.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Very good welcome!

It was almost a blessing that we tore the old antenna off with a low hanging branch on our way out of the campsite. Again we forgot to put it in place. It has higher reception than the original that was on our 1999 Fleetwood Bounder. Although we mounted it on the original bracket, we don't really need to lift it to get good reception (if channels can be found). Don't wait for your antenna to fly. Upgrade now if your budget allows!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not the best

No integrity for the electronics

The antenna tube that rotates the antenna broke when I first pulled the camper out. I called customer service, explained the situation and said that it was 30 degrees in the morning, the plastic part broke. The technicians told her that they had passed the weather test and that it was impossible. Antenna is 2 months old. They assumed I hit something and then the antenna broke. I assured them that this did not happen. I will never recommend or buy any other of their products.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Reliability

Many installation details are not mentioned in a new installation

I was very happy to finally start this project. Climbed onto the roof with plastic kit and Razaar, doesn't work. There were all these limitations. Must not be within 25" of roof at front and 16" at side. Nothing nearby disturbs. There are 4 solar panels. There doesn't seem to be much room in the front and back. You also need to drill a 1 1/4" round hole in the roof. My panels sit on wood 6" above the roof on the trunk. The handle for turning I only had 6". So much logistics the company never…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great antenna replacement!

The only downside to installing this antenna on my 5 wheel trailer was to check how badly the manufacturer installed the original "rotary" antenna. I decided to replace the OEM antenna after I had to replace the rubber roof and the assholes reinstalling the OEM unit completely messed it up and rendered it unusable. (I don't normally use the TV aerial but my son wanted to watch a football game in the trailer and complained about the signal. I found the crank system was damaged. That was two…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Expandable

This is a good alternative to the traditional RV antenna head. While you can easily replace your existing head, if you want to use it as a permanent vertical antenna instead of a curved one, you'll need to trim the original tubes down to about 6 inches, as the entire unit is about 12 inches tall in this configuration. That's roughly the height of your wheeled air conditioners. To get the correct spacing for drilling holes in the cut tubes, first remove the original antenna, then use a piece of…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Requires power outlet

Added 20 channels to our homes WITHOUT cable costs, no Wi-Fi required

Love the picture and reception of our new antenna! We live 90 miles from the nearest TV station and all 3 networks are equidistant. This antenna gave us the ability to receive all 3 major networks CBS, NBC, ABC and even PBS plus a few more channels. With this antenna all stations are so clear, much clearer than our cable picture used to be. We first tried indoor wall mount antennas and they worked for a while as long as the weather was nice. If anything touched him, they would blur the picture.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I'll be silent
