This neck pillow is too designed for children, it is exactly what my elderly mother needs not as a neck pillow but as a seat cushion. It's filled with tiny microspheres, which is what she wanted, the microspheres inside the pillow remain liquid and don't shrink into a rigid shape like fiberfill does. Gel pillows are actually too hard. Mom is a bit bedridden so finding ways to keep her from staying in the same position for long periods of time is important to avoid bed sores. This pillow is AMAZING for that purpose. Of course it can be used as a neck pillow, but here it is used as a seat cushion. It seems well made, very light and perfect for mom's needs. I recommend it to anyone looking for a seat cushion or even a neck pillow. :)
