The thing is about to become useless. Does it seal? More or less after the second or third try, even after trying desperately to make sure the bag has a clean edge and no moisture or dirt on it. Does it vacuum? no It doesn't even seem like it is. I literally made it better with a straw and a zip bag. If you're looking for a cheaper vacuum sealer, look for a ziplock bag and straw. You will get better results. Don't repeat my mistake. Spend a little more money or consider buying reusable straws.
