Read ALL instructions before you begin! I took it as a beginner and it was more work than I expected. However, I followed the instructions and had no problems except that it took longer than expected. If you're a beginner and don't understand all the stitches, do a quick search on Youtube and you'll quickly get the hang of it. I'm so glad I made this for my grandson's first Christmas and it's so lovely. Since my family uses stockings for gifts, I doubled the underwire and attached it with extra stitches.
