Review on Yamaha A-S301BL Integrated Stereo Amplifier - Enhanced Natural Sound | Black by Minoru Koshida ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

In principle, the device is decent, but in terms of sound, especially bass, you need to listen, including other manufacturers, and choose for yourself. Although the bass in electronic and club music is not bad, but weak on metal. The power of the device is not enough, it is better to take at least S501. Due to the lack of bass, you need to take more bass acoustics. If it weren't for the bass, I would have put 5 points. Before buying, you should listen to the device with your own acoustics.

Pros
  • Build quality. Built-in DAC. Tone block. Loudness compensation. During operation, it does not make noise, does not smell, at low volume (9 hours) it practically does not heat up. Sufficient number of analog inputs. Dim green indication.
Cons
  • Sound - not enough bass. Turning on Pure Diract cuts the bass even more. Canton 3-way speakers sound better than heco and dali 2-way speakers. The external 9-band beringer 800 mini improves the sound a bit. In sound, the Denon Avr 2400 loses significantly to the receiver, especially when listening to high-res and DSD. Weak DAC, but it will do. Low output power - 60 watts into 8 ohm acoustics. Not a bright, narrowed scene. There is no highlight of the sound level - nitpicking.
