later so here it is. I've already recorded 4 discs and they all came out with no problems. but i use desktop plextor drive. I think this has a lot to do with the many problems people have with laptop burners. I found out after burning laptops and I even bought my mom a USB DVD burner and it was a pioneer! but this thing spat out nothing but coasters. the same drives, the same media on my desktop drive (and I was using an ASUS drive then, not the Plexor I have now), and they burned just fine. I think it has a lot to do with the burner and the carrier. *** Bonus Advice. I held the discs under a light to try and read the matrix numbers and the serial number ends in "azo" so I'm pretty sure they are good discs. As I said, no problems for me so far! :) relax yourself.
