This CD player is decent enough. The quality is pretty poor and the sound is just ok, certainly not the rich round sound you get from high quality speakers. I have this because I can hang it on the wall in my makeshift dance studio at home and it works in that department. My biggest complaint is that the CD player part doesn't have a lid, and laser disc readers are extremely sensitive to air and dirt, so I'm not sure how to protect it other than keeping a CD in it at all times let what is not the case for me is a good solution. .
