I'm writing this almost a year after I bought this unit. I'm using it on Windows 10. Most devices of this type require drivers to be installed BEFORE being plugged in. It is very important. I connected it to a 24 inch HP monitor and the picture quality was perfect. The video plays fine even in full screen mode, but the downside of this (and pretty much every similar device) is that it puts a heavy load on your CPU and USB bus. If you are running a low power/older system with an older/slower processor then this device may not be satisfactory. I originally used it on an old laptop with an AMD processor/chipset. The CPU fan was not working on this old laptop. rewind and run at medium/high speed whenever this was plugged in and full HD video wasn't smooth. A few months later I plugged it into a new laptop with an i7 processor and there was none such problem - you can not even tell what you see here a USB adapter in a newer system. Note, however, that your mileage may vary depending on your computer's specifications.
