I've been using this comb for almost a year now and although I've never put it in my bag my comb hasn't broken like others have complained about in their pockets. I carry my comb in my work bag which I carry every day so there is no risk of my bag breaking. However, I will say that my comb has warped and is no longer flat when placed on a flat surface. I don't know what the wood/plastic is, but it has definitely warped from daily use. Would I buy this again? For the price I probably would.
