I love having compression bandages in my first aid kit because you can never be sure. Now I have a broken arm in a sugar bandage, which is a splint, fluffy gauze, and compression bandages. It's nice to have extra compression bandages so I can change them when they get dirty and wash them and leave them clean. I'm not in a cast yet because I don't need surgery until the swelling is no longer a problem. Like I said, you never know who might be planning on breaking their arm and typing with just one hand? I have required compression bandages for myself and others for many years. It is better to have them and never need them than not to have them and need them.
