First off, recommending the S9 is just plain stupid. This holster is too big for the S9, and it feels like I'm carrying around a small tablet instead of a nice, thin Samsung phone. The magnetic clasp is useless as it opens at the slightest snag on something all the time. The belt hook is weak and all you have to do is barely hook the case to anything and the case practically pops off your belt. I have to be very alert lest the phone fall off my strap on its own and the phone go $$$$. Only a belt loop is safe in this case, but you have the problem that the flap keeps opening every time it comes into contact with an object. The case looks well made though and will likely hold up as long as it doesn't get lost. A more appropriate device with a more secure belt hook and flap would be more like this. If you have a large phone that fits and you don't care if it keeps falling off your strap, then this is the device for you. I will keep looking for a better holster.
