Roku and Firestick issues

Android app (Samsung S10) = 5 stars Roku app (TCL Smart TV) = 1 star Firestick app (connected to another TV) = 2 stars Overall a positive result. Combined with a conventional 150 mile rotary antenna, I received channels that had not previously passed through a TV tuner. So the actual tuner part is great. However, apps and just general usage were a headache. Worked almost flawlessly on my Android phone, clear signal, no dropouts, program guide worked as expected. That doesn't sound like typical cable routing at all, but I don't see why it's not an option. The Firestick app had a similar interface to the Android app but stopped working after a day. Connected to every channel it started on but only showed "audio only" and didn't switch channels. Couldn't find any solution other than reinstalling the app when this happened (twice). The Roku app was basically useless, the only guide for each channel with the ability to scroll through each channel list to see what's on. Apart from the fact that there were no functions in the application, the channel simply turned on and stopped after 15 seconds. This happened on every channel tested, from the strongest to the weakest, it just stopped as if it were disabled. (What the logs actually said was that it was disabled) It also had nothing to do with WiFi, we have a great router, it's sort of overkill for the size of the house. If you use it with Android I would say go for it. Pass if you have a Roku or Firestick.
