ACT is a great mouthwash. It cleans the mouth while protecting the teeth. ACT has a good minty flavor but not too strong. This version of ACT contains no alcohol, but still has a slight "burn" upon application. But not as bad as mouthwashes with alcohol. The best thing about ACT mouthwash is that it prevents plaque from building up on your teeth. When I started using ACT mouthwash, my dental hygienist noticed a significant improvement between 6 month cleanings. Much less plaque accumulated on the teeth, especially between them. I use the recommended 10ml of ACT twice a day after brushing with an Oral B electric toothbrush. Simply rinse the ACT out for 1 minute and then do not eat or drink anything for 30 minutes after use. This gives the fluoride in ACT time to bond to tooth enamel without being washed off prematurely. If you want a clean mouth, fresh breath, and less (or no) tooth decay, then I highly recommend using ACT Mouthwash twice a day after brushing your teeth. I am 53 years old, have been using ACT for many years and have never had tooth decay in my life. I have to say that ACT mouthwash really did work as advertised.
