Review on Fun, Educational Instant Camera Digital Toddler Camcorder: Capture Cherished Moments! by Dennis Black

I can't say enough about how cute this camera is!

We gave this to our oldest grandson when he turned 6 last spring. I was looking for a camera because the last few years he's wanted a camera - and gotten a couple of old digital cameras but they had too many batteries. Our grandson saw a Polaroid camera somewhere and liked the idea of cameras that take photos instantly, but these cameras and the film that goes with them are overpriced and just not practical for young children. Hunt for cameras, but most of these cameras also needed batteries and didn't produce photos. Then I decided to see if there were any cameras suitable for a 6 year old and came across this little camera. It seemed perfect so we bought it. Our grandson was delighted! In his opinion, simple little black and white pictures are just perfect! It's so cute to watch him take a picture that he gives as a keepsake to family members, puts in a small collection box, or sticks on paper to make books and projects. He and his sister also film short video stories with him to play later as the camera can also record videos. He's had it for over 5 months now and is still very creative with it. Unfortunately one day the camera stopped working properly and unlike other times my daughter was able to use it following instructions, this time there was a little photo tragedy. I contacted the MINIBEAR company through Revain and a very helpful and friendly customer service representative worked with me until she too came to the same conclusion that everything that happened to the camera appears to be permanent. So the company sent my grandson a new camera! He was so excited about his camera's return that he immediately turned it on and got to work. He didn't have the broken one with me when I gave him a new one and he missed the photos he thought he had lost but when his mom put the original SD card in the new camera, voila! Here they are again! So if you're wondering would I buy this camera again, the answer is a resounding YES! We have another grandson and granddaughter who will be 6 years old this year and we plan to give each of them a camera because they have already seen the first one and liked it. Are black and white thermal images ideal? To the modern adult eye used to high-resolution digital photography, perhaps not. But for a child's innocent creativity, that's amazing! The camera itself records digital color images and video, and these still images can be printed as color photos like any other camera. This is a real camera even though it looks like a toy. In fact, I wouldn't give it to much younger kids simply because they tend to throw things over their shoulders without thinking and then wonder why it's not working anymore. So we wait a bit longer to give the other two the cameras. I also suggest buying the extra rolls of paper they offer through MINIBEAR. I think the three rolls that come with the camera give about 210 small shots, but luckily a small child can get 210 shots of anything they see in a short amount of time, especially when the camera is new. Remember that the camera uses thermal paper, e.g. B. Receipt paper. So don't keep it in your car or any other place where it might get too hot or the paper might not be suitable for photos.
