At under $40, you can't beat the value. You get more than decent brightness from the front light and a very useful rear light with many modes. In fact, it has survived every 3 hour ride I've tested it on so I have no doubts about the advertised 4 hour lifespan at the highest settings. I didn't expect the taillight to use more expensive LEDs. With the LED taillight, I have more confidence that cars on the road will see me even in the dark. The only slight downside might be the somewhat cheap feel of the mount. The bracket seems to do the job, but it's definitely the weak link in this whole kit. A nice bonus is the water resistance; For my mountain bike tours, where it can get wet, this is a clear advantage.
