To hang it correctly, watch the video for this product! Other than that, I personally don't think you'll be happy with how it should look! I'll keep mine hanging year round, except when I'm hanging my American flag wreath, which happens most of the year, and then go to the other side of my door or garage door, which almost everyone uses anyway. But this wreath is used all year round, it is only postponed.
