Review on 📻 Rugged Ridge 11503.96 Radio Mount Kit & Antenna for Jeep Wrangler JK (07-18) by Joseph Stone

This mount was exactly as advertised. I was able to assemble both parts in less than 10 minutes and it took me a few hours to get my CB up and running. A lot of people say it doesn't fit in a full size CB, but I was able to fit the Bearcat 880 with minimal effort and no hopping. I simply drilled the holes on top of the CB cross mount and bolted it to the Rugged Ridge Mount. This clears the electronic mirror in my 2015 by about 1/8 inch and still has room to get to my liberty plates. The only problem you might have with full size units are longer units like the Cobra 29. I had to flip the coax cable 90 degrees on the back of my 880 to keep everything tidy. I installed a 3 foot antenna on the tire mount and installed a jumper wire between the bottom of the coax connector and one of the mounting screws. This has allowed me to achieve an SWR of 1.0 on all channels and I can still squeeze into my garage. I'm still playing with it but I know I can get a clear signal 2 miles away and I was able to pick up chatter at a rest stop about 15 miles away. I would recommend this combo kit to anyone who wants to simplify installation.
