Buyers beware

This kit would be fine if a few key issues were fixed before going into production. First, the radio mount is too flimsy when using a full size CB. I have a Uniden Bearcat 980S and it bounced all the time because the mount wasn't rigid enough for such a radio. Second, the antenna mount would be great if it was level. A lot of people say it doesn't fit in a full size CB, but I was able to fit the Bearcat 880 with minimal effort and no hopping. I simply drilled the holes on top of the CB cross mount and bolted it to the Rugged Ridge Mount. This clears the electronic mirror in my 2015 by about 1/8 inch and still has room to get to my liberty plates. The only…
