Review on 🔥 Silicone Lamson HotSpot Counter Protector by Mike Johnston

Purchased primarily to protect countertops when using an electric skillet. For this purpose it is hardly effective. I live in a house built from plain old laminate countertops. For those with Corian, Granite, or Quartz, you don't have that problem. Cheap old countertops will delaminate over time from heat if not protected. When the pan is worked on this rack, the heat still makes the counter very hot. Can be used as an oven mitt, can opener or on a hot skillet. I used my protective glove as a heat shield, thought it would be the best coverage. Still useful just not for what I bought it for.
