Protect countertop from scratches and burns

First I ordered this by mistake. I wanted to buy the small version (7x7). Small ones are good potholders. This size is perfect for countertop protection. If you have a cheaper laminated (Formica®) countertop, you definitely need one of these to keep it from burning. This wonderful cushion protects other countertops from scratches. Get this size instead of the small ones!

This is awesome! Don't mess with the little ones. Serious. My ex and I had a couple of these smaller potholders (7" x 7") and we both liked them. I needed my own set for my new location and decided on a larger size. One of them is big enough that you can put a pot of hot broth on it, on the counter, and nothing else is needed. At 7" I'd have to use both for a big pot heats up. They're quick and easy to wipe down with a slightly soapy sponge or microfiber cloth, or pop them in the dishwasher.

For those with Corian, Granite, or Quartz, you don't have that problem. Cheap old countertops will delaminate over time from heat if not protected. When the pan is worked on this rack, the heat still makes the counter very hot. Can be used as an oven mitt, can opener or on a hot skillet. I used my protective glove as a…
