Ideal for regular trips in our van

We have a home fridge in our five wheel trailer. I knew that the one 12 volt battery that came with the trailer wouldn't be enough when we were touring the country. I have this inverter/converter and 6 6 volt golf cart batteries. It does a great job of starting up our fridge and keeping things cool on the go, and we still have plenty of battery left when we stop on the road at the end of the day. We put solar panels on the roof, and with the two together, even after two days of travel, we never have to leave the generator running at the end of the day (unless we hit large areas on cloudy, rainy days). . It just works, it's great because it does all the switching when we're connected to the mains or when we're running with a generator.
