Fits perfectly and we'll see how long it lasts. This is the second time we have replaced this block on our 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L. We forgot to write down the date. We exchanged the device for the first time. So I have no idea the lifespan but we know it was at least 3 years or so. Our truck stopped at a stop sign and threw emission codes. The tubes contained charcoal particles that clogged the airflow and also activated the check engine light. We also decided to replace the EGR valve and evaporative purge valve as the truck is 24 years old. We thought it would be nice to change everything at once this time - 05/2021
