I overtightened a few of these when trying to attach the tabs to my bibs which was very frustrating. I had to put a lot of pressure on the pliers to keep them from popping out again. It got to the point where I had to force my husband to carry them because of the strength required. (and I'm not a wimp) after 2 uses he bent the pliers he had to pinch so hard. BUT. I've found that using the small metal stick that comes with the kit and a hammer is fine. Needless to say, when using them be sure to use a hammer and the tool provided, not pliers. I haven't decided yet whether I want to buy them again or not as I've only made about 20 bibs with them for my craft shows. I'll see how I feel about this after the next batch I'm going to make now that I know how to use a hammer.
