Ease of use of power supplies
I used this harness on my 2012 Wrangler. I had an open space at the bottom of the dash where the power mirror controls are usually located. Open the dashboard, plug it in, and plug in some connectors at the end to insert the USB charging port. I could hook up the factory cables but it saves some time and looks cleaner. No problem with that.
