Terrible product. Don't buy this for your dog. Keep them from pain and emotional anxiety. Our dog was outside doing his business when it started to rain cats and dogs he didn't mind so we were just letting him do his thing when all of a sudden we heard him screaming non stop because the collar wouldn't stop shocking him, and because he did get wet, it shook the hell out of him (literally). We had to chase and fend him off and then go swimming. Needless to say he is traumatized and we feel absolute disgust at ourselves for allowing this to happen to him. A few days of use with no problems. He barked, it did its job and he stopped. Keep in mind he's not a small dog (healer mix, maybe 60-70 pounds). This was totally unexpected as I was under the impression that the collar would still be safe in the rain as it is waterproof.
