Review on ✏️ Optimized Derwent Graphic Pencil 3H by Kristen Reid

I have been drawing for almost 30 years and I use different brands of pencils. This is the brand I try to avoid. The wood is of poor quality, does not sharpen smoothly and leaves a rough finish, and the lead appears to be of inferior quality. It happens that pencils sometimes fall on the floor. The lead can break inside the pencil. So if you try to sharpen it, pieces of lead will fall out in 1/4 inch chunks, rendering the pencil useless. Higher quality pencils can withstand such abuse; This brand can't do that. As a last resort I had to buy this brand several times and each time I had the same problem. (mostly I use 2B so I look at that hardness and not another) I bought the last two just a few days ago (again I was in a dilemma, there wasn't another brand to choose from) I've already needed them Bought them all the way although I was EXTREMELY careful not to drop them or push them unnecessarily. I used BOTH pencils on ONE drawing. Unacceptable. It should not be! You don't have to watch out for pencils.
