Parts come in GE packaging. They were a perfect match, with an improved bladed "shredder" replacing the old coil spring type that my dishwasher came with. The instructions were clearly written AFTER the pump assembly was removed from the dishwasher. To remove the pump assembly, follow the step-by-step videos found on You Tube. You are very helpful! The old parts were easy to remove and the instructions show how to screw in the new parts. I took the time to scrape the dirt off the pump housing and sump while the engine was off. Make sure that the drain door is not damaged! Flush thoroughly before assembly. In general, the work is easy. I salvaged my dishwasher from the junkyard for less than $15 and a few hours of work. Not a bad deal!
