My son loves this new belt. The black side has some texture. The brown side is so dark it almost looks black. The belt buckle rotates (you pull the buckle away from the belt and rotate it). Changing from black to brown is pretty easy. On the other hand, some information is embossed on the leather, but this is hidden by the material threaded through the buckle. The belt looks well constructed and durable, and the measurements are true to size.
