Only used 4 times and no longer works properly

Only used 4 times and the toasts no longer rose completely when the heat went out. Very sloppily done. The crumb tray does not slide out as advertised. When unhooked, it falls straight down like all conventional toasters. Waste of hard earned money for this retiree.
