First it's work. I had an outdoor light with aluminum wiring connected to copper Rolex and it flickered in cold temperatures. After checking all the connections and finding nothing wrong, I read that aluminum and copper can cause problems and these connectors can solve them. Of course, using them instead of standard wire nuts solves the problem. I only gave them 4 stars because they seem expensive for what they are. However, they are well made, offer a solid connection and even include silicone to protect the wire once inserted. Another factor affecting 4 stars is size. They take up a little more space in the junction box.
