Installs exactly as directed using common tools and some special fasteners
They work great for mounting LED strip mounts to my truck's windshield frame. I used an M8 class 10 bolt, M8 class 10 nut and M8 washer and M9 nut as standoffs and 3 combination wrenches to install inserts. Having 3 hands helps a lot. I snapped/ripped off 2 weaker bolts trying to install these nuts because they are quite strong. I bought the Fastenal fasteners because Lowes, Home Depot and McLendon didn't have sufficiently strong nuts and bolts. These, like all nuts I've seen like me, don't always compress exactly axially to the exact center of the body, plan for this in your project.
