For those who want to compare Sr. with original VFan, I added photos. I don't have a sound level meter, but I think the big Sr. and Original are quiet fans. Both fans have their place in the house. I think the original should be in a smaller room and the older one in a bigger room. Neither fan will blow your mind, but both produce enough air. If you're buying a fan for maximum versatility and size, it doesn't matter, buy Sr. Sr. can do the same thing as Original. If space and weight are an issue, buy the original. Jr. less than these two models. I am happy with my Original and Sr purchases. Date: 05/19/2016 Sr started making a very annoying clicking noise. I found a piece of metal near the fan housing. I called Vornado to find out what to do next. The waiting time for a representative was about 1.3 minutes. I expected a long wait. A Vordnado representative has been notified of the issue. I held the phone near the fan so the rep could hear the senior's noises. The representative arranged for the elder to be picked up by UPS. I called Vornado as instructed by the first representative after UPS picked up the senior. The waiting time before the next repetition was about 1.3 minutes. The second representative released another fan and it arrived in about 5-6 days. Postage for fan pickup and delivery was free. Bravo Vornado, you have a true 5 year guarantee and Vornado made it very easy. I've never had super easy warranty work. Vornado stands by their product and I recommend this company. After this event I bought another Vornado for my bathroom. As long as Vornado continues to conduct business as I have described, I will continue to do business with Vornado.
