This grip kit converts not only Grex airbrush brands, but also other brands into a pistol grip device. The plastic handle is lightly textured for a better grip when things keep getting wet, and the plastic is hard (it's not flexible rubber). The kit includes a metal adapter to extend the air hose through the handle and a locking nut to hold the handle securely to the airbrush. Cleaning is easy - remove the lock nut, slide the handle off the metal air adapter, remove the adapter and disassemble/clean the airbrush. I upgraded my Iwata airbrushes to this grip system and have been using them for several years. In fact, I just bought another one for a new airbrush that just arrived for review. The ergonomics of this grip aren't for everyone, but if you're not comfortable with a standard airbrush, especially a dual-action airbrush, you can try this (if it suits your airbrush).
