Bought these beds for my two dogs, a golden and a labrador retriever, who hate these beds so much they prefer to sleep on the floor. 1. First, the base is very slippery. won't stay while they try to climb it. I have them on wooden floors but I have tried a carpet with the same results.2. Even if you somehow convince her to lie down on the bed, it will be very noisy, like trying to get into a plastic bag, and you can hear her every move. The bottom has almost no support, maybe 0.25" of foam which wears out very quickly even with minimal use. So it's not surprising that they stay looking new longer because nobody uses them. I'll be returning them and something softer to buy.
